Monthly sport events and concerts will bring you and your friends together and the nightlife really never stops - Sofia doesn’t sleep even when it should.

FAMILY TIME

Although Sofia is the capital and life is really busy here the city is still great for raising a family - there are a lot of fun activities, a children’s museum (Muzeiko) and great kindergartens as well as alternative child care and many public and private schools with strong background for full education. For the parents with toddlers and babies there are nice restaurants with playgrounds for children, malls and of course, beautiful parks.

ATMOSPHERE & SPIRIT

Sofia is filled with great historical and at the same time modern and youthful spirit. You can feel the deep history filling the streets. This happens just by walking on the famous yellow pavements, along the little shops and cafes, theatres and art places - or when moving from one landmark to another. You can begin your exploring by walking from Alexander Nevsky Cathedral to Sofia University and strolling Vitoshka pedestrian zone. Communities in Sofia are open and fun.

CLOSE TO...

When living in Sofia gets a little overwhelming, a breath of fresh air is always closeby. Vitosha Mountain is amazingly close with beautiful hiking trails and scenery, summits to conquer (Black peak) and Kamen Del where you’ll find the clearest and widest panorama of Sofia. If you are a lover of winter sports, Vitosha offers that but there is also Borovets - a ski resort only 70 km from Sofia. Dragalevtsi, Bistritsa and Boyana as well as Pancharevo lake are also close.
